Sarah has several years of experience in supply chain management and manufacturing. She has successfully led numerous projects with global vendor partners from development stages, clinical trials, through commercialization that met stakeholder timelines and budget requirements.
She is an excellent fit with Vax-Immune Diagnostics due to being exposed to class II and III medical device startups.
Most of her tenure has been focused on product quality, manufacturing throughput and process optimization as she was a centralized stakeholder between quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams. A few of her accomplishments include spearheading the implementation of a QMS per ISO9001 requirements and maintaining a ISO13485 quality system without audit observations, successfully investigated non-conformances and implemented CAPAs with accelerated schedule constraints, vertically integrated vendors from 17 vendors in 3 continents to 4 vendors in 2 continents, and reducing BOM costs by 9%.
